Introduction
New and updated course based on ISO 45001:2018 OHS Management Systems.
- There are formal no entry requirements for this course. However it is assumed that participants are working in an OHS role and have some knowledge of the processes and activities associated with managing workplace hazards and implementing health and safety systems, procedures and processes within an organization. It is further assumed that participants have access to an organization to conduct workplace-based assessment tasks.
- Completion of the non-accredited course; ISO 45001:2018 Foundation, is highly recommended prior to attending this course as it provides a comprehensive understanding of the ISO 45001:2018 standard.
This course is intended for use in both public and on-site courses targeting individuals with a working knowledge of OHS Management System. The course focuses on developing the knowledge and practical skills of participants who need to learn more about the health and safety risk management function within their organization and/or need further specialized knowledge and skills in this area.
Specifically, this course is designed for people who are responsible for:
- Planning, development, implementation, management, monitoring and review of the performance of their organization’s Occupational
- Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS), including managing workplace hazards and risks
- Facilitating health and safety activities aligned to the OHSMS
- Facilitating the associated consultation and worker participation processes
